My mind is too busy to meditate. (I have too many thoughts)
We all experience many thousands of thoughts per day, so don’t worry, you’re not alone in the overwhelm that thoughts can bring. Vedic Meditation allows the mind and body to naturally settle, finding a refined level of activity; even when the mind is full with thoughts, there is no conflict. It’s very common to experience deep rest and relaxation from your very first Vedic Meditation experience, assuring busy minds that connection to this practice is achievable. 


I am too busy to meditate
Vedic Meditation is designed for busy people. Meditating twice a day for 20 minutes may seem like a challenge to integrate into your schedule. Let’s reframe; This time represents less than 3% of your total day and is a profound investment in the remaining 97% of your day. Busy individuals report gaining extra hours of productivity because they emerge from meditation more alert, creative and effective. Once the habit is established, it will soon become the most enjoyable, non-negotiable part in your day. 


What is a mantra?
In Vedic Meditation we use a mantra as the vehicle to settle our mind from higher states of activity to less stressed, de-excited states of awareness. The Mantra is a word or sound that is selected specifically to resonate with the meditator to initiate the process of settling the mind. The mantra has no intention or meaning, its effectiveness works on the basis of vibrational sound quality. As the mantra is silently repeated, it makes its way easily and without effort through the more active levels of the mind down to the more quiter layers. As the mind shifts into these more subtle layers the body naturally follows into a state of deep rest and rejuvenation.


I’ve never meditated. Will it Work for me?
No prior meditation experience or knowledge is necessary. You don’t need to make changes to your life, sacrifices, restrictions, or sit crossed legged in lotus position. Even if you’re sceptical about Vedic Meditation’s effectiveness, as long as you practice, it will work. You can revisit the course at any time, with access to continued guidance to keep you inspired.
